Ashley Morrison

I have posted questions on my website and have recieved one reply. I am currently trying to get more responses. There is so much information that the blogger left under my questions that i can only put a few questions. It says there is a character limit.
One person responded with the following:

Why did you choose this particular website/community?
I chose the nursing spectrum from years ago prior to the technical advancement. I enjoyed the nurses who produce the newspaper for the nurses and the information placed in the paper. As for the website, it was hard making the transition at first and it became easier as time goes by. I was not sure how the community was going to perceive each other or me. I did not know if the community was made up with nursing instructors, nursing spies, nursing narks, nurses from the old school taught by nightingale or modern day nurses and the diversities attitudes of nursing from each nurse could bring an unique quality to the profession.

Have there ever been any problems with this website/community?
The website had technical difficulties and it was corrected as soon it was discovered. This is not unusual for the internet service or the website to have bugs, viruses, or unexplainable problems occurring. As long the issue can be resolved as soon as possible and the customers of the website are able to use it again within appropriate amount time after repairs, it’s all good.Every community on the internet and in reality have experience several heated issues that resulted in negative outcomes. The community has shown their maturity by resolving the issues without the assistants of moderators and among each other. There are times moderators must be present to neutralize the community because each side is standing their grounds in what they believe in. After the cooling off period, the community comes together and continues within the threads without discussing the incident as the thread is closed. Therefore, some may still hold grudges against others and others let it go; the community is a group of nurses with high expectations, variety of philosophies, and head strong people who have the same goal of caring for the ill, injured and disabled individuals.

What do you think it takes to be a good nurse?
This question is subjective. To be a good nurse in my opinion is willing to give up many things, have the qualities & skills of a care taker, have good listening skills, willing to stand up for others who cannot do it for themselves, have a strong and caring personality, honesty, respect, loyal, understanding, understanding why you are in this career of nursing, strong back muscles & arms, willing to attend a fitness center at least four times a week, participate in stress relievers activities, good communication skills & able to speak in three different languages, able to maintain a nutritional plan during working, planning adequate rest and taking appropriate breaks/vacation, able to handle a large load of patients, well organize and prioritizing, know the laws and rights as a nurse, able to wear different titles at once, not to be afraid or be scare, etc.

I have noticed a trend in the blogs that have been recently posted. When somone posts a blog about their opinion on something that happened on the news for instance, the following posts by other bloggers relate to the topic in a way and they all say their opinion. When a blogger posts something about a disease condition, the following blogs are also about different diseases. Its almost like they are trying to either keep the website blogs in order, or either they are competing against eachother.
